El Paso, Texas (KTSM) – The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for the El Paso County. As of Friday afternoon, the heat advisory is expected to expire by 6 a.m. Saturday.
It’s critical to keep yourself hydrated and take frequent breaks if stay outdoors for long periods of time. Don’t forget that sunscreen either!
Meanwhile, the weather for this weekend is forecast to be sunny and hot.
Our high for Saturday is predicted to warm up to 102 degrees. The day will consist of sunny skies paired with south-easterly winds ranging from 5 to 10 mph. Our overnight low is forecast to drop to 77 degrees, a fairly warm night for the Sun City.
Once again, Sunday’s weather is similar to Saturday. The days high is expected to warm up to 101 degrees paired with warm breezes. 78 degrees is our Sunday overnight low.
Nothing significant to report for Sunday.
Monday, we are off to a warm and dry start. The high of the day is expected to reach 102 degrees. In the evening is when things begin to take a turn.
Monday evening is forecast to bring us 20 percent chance of storms with an overnight low sitting at 77 degrees. At this time storms chances are slim for Monday. Some areas in El Paso may see more moisture that others.
Tuesday and Wednesday brings us back to our sunny days. 100 degrees is forecasted to be our high for Tuesday. Our overnight low is expected to cool off to 76 degrees.

We have the potential to warm up to 101 degrees Wednesday. Intervals of clouds will be here and there, this makes it a perfect chance to catch some awesome Weather Watchers!
Beginning Thursday, a moisture pattern makes its way to the Borderland.
Additionally, Thursday is also the last day we forecast triple digits for the remainder of the forecast.
Thursday’s high is expected to reach up to 102 degrees. In the evening, our overnight low sits at 78 degrees paired with a 10 percent chance of thunderstorms. Storm chances are expected before midnight, no later than.
Say “hello” to Friday and double digits! Also, the trend of storm chances continues.
Friday’s high warms up to 99 degrees. There is a 15 percent chance of scattered storms throughout the day. Our overnight low is forecast to cool off to 76 degrees.
Storm chances remain slim for Friday evening.
Isolated storms are in for Saturday with a high expecting to reach up to 98 degrees. The day finishes off with a warm evening temperature of 77 degrees. Nice time for a outdoor dinner at a local restaurant, a picnic at a park or simply watch the sunset. It’s a great way to soak in the beauty of our city!
Sunday tops off the 9-Day Forecast. Sunday’s forecast to bring us 15 percent chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Storms have the possibility to linger into the evening. Our high is predicted to reach 99 degrees.
