KTSM News – Warmer Wednesday, windy Thursday in El Paso area

Posted on October 21, 2025

Such a nice change today from yesterday’s 87. A mild cool front blew in as expected, so prepare for a cooler night tonight. Wednesday will warm us back up. Here’s your exclusive 9-Hour Forecast for Wednesday with your 9-Day Forecast below.

TONIGHT:   The skies will be clear as we drop down to a cool 51 at the airport, 47 in the valley.  The E-SE winds will range from calm to 10 mph.

FORECAST:  Wednesday will be partly cloudy and warmer as the breezes come in from the south. With a high of 86, the south-SE winds will range from 5-15 mph.  Those warmer breezes will charge up the moisture slightly, so expect mostly cloudy skies to start our Thursday. Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a very slight chance of a few drops as we turn cloudy midday.  The SW winds will pick up and gust near 35 mph.  This will elevate the high to 87. Friday will be sunny and cooler with a high of 78.  Take a jacket to Football Friday night because it will be chilly after the sun sets.  Saturday will be sunny and 80 with light winds.  On Sunday, the winds pick up in the afternoon.  With sunny skies, the SW winds will gust near 30 mph.  Sunday’s high: 83. Monday will be sunny and 82.
