A High Wind Warning is posted for El Paso east of the Franklin Mountains starting at 11 PM through Tuesday. The west winds will range from 15-40 mph with stronger gusts on the east slopes. The skies will be partly cloudy, and the low will be 64.

A Wind Advisory is posted for all other areas of the county. The SW winds will range from 15-60 mph with the strongest gusts on the east slopes of the mountain. The skies will be partly cloudy and hazy, and the high will climb to 78. On Wednesday, a low-pressure system brings some moisture and cooler winds into the Borderland. With a high of 60, look for cloudy skies and rain. The winds will shift east at 10-25 mph… not nearly as strong as the winds on Tuesday. Thursday will start out with clouds and a few lingering showers early in the morning but will clear by midday. Thursday’s high: 66. Friday will be sunny and beautiful with a high of 74. Saturday will partly cloudy and moderately windy with a high of 79.
