TONIGHT: The skies will be partly to mostly cloudy. The winds will be light and variable at 5-10 mph, and the low will drop to 40.
FORECAST: KTSM has issued a Weather Authority Alert for Saturday due to the chilly, gusty winds and light snow. Saturday will be cloudy. The chilly west winds will pick up and gust to near 35 mph on the east slopes. By afternoon, expect rain showers. Between 9 PM and 11 PM, the rain will shift over to light snow. Minimal accumulations are expected; however, we could wake up to a dusting of snow on the mountains. Super Sunday will be a cold, partly to mostly cloudy day with a high of 49. Sunday’s NW-north winds will gust to near 35 mph and will feel very, very cold. Monday will be sunny and 60. Tuesday will be sunny and 64. Valentine’s Day will be sunny and 67. Thursday will be partly cloudy to mostly sunny with a high of 69. Friday will be mostly sunny and 70. A cold front blows in on Saturday causing strong gusts on the west slopes of the mountains.
