A very happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone. Monica and Estela look fantastic in their green, but I avoid green because it looks weird on my weather wall. (By “weird” I mean I vanish.) Such a beautiful and warm day with a high of 84. The record on this date is 87 set in 1887. Everything falls apart tomorrow. A High Wind Warning and a Dust Advisory begin at noon. Here’s your exclusive 9-Hour Forecast:

TONIGHT: The skies will be partly cloudy overnight, and the winds will be breezy. The SW winds will range from 5-20 mph, a bit breezy at time on the east slopes of the mountains. The low will drop to 57.
FORECAST: KTSM has issued a Weather Authority Alert due to strong winds and blowing dust for Tuesday. A High Wind Warning and a Dust Advisory are posted from noon until 9 PM. The SW-W winds will pick up by mid morning and will gust near 60 mph by afternoon. Winds will be strongest on the east slopes of the mountain, and the dust will reduce visibility to dangerous levels. Tuesday’s high: 77. Wednesday will be sunny with much lighter winds and no dust. The NW winds will range from 5-20 mph, and the high will be a cooler 64. Thursday will be sunny and warmer with a high of 76. Friday will be mostly sunny and breezy with a high of 80. Saturday will be moderately windy with a slight haze and a high of 83.
