EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy hump day! With all the past rain that made its way across El Paso on Labor Day, today will be a great day to mow your lawn if you haven’t yet.
We’re forecasting a high of 89-degrees by 4 p.m. but the morning will start cool in the upper 70s by noon. While dry conditions will continue across the Borderland, isolated thunderstorms are expected to return in the mountains and through the weekend.
Light east winds are expected at 5 mph during the day and pick up to 10 mph tonight. Temperatures are expected to rise to near normal by tomorrow.
