Posted on June 19, 2024

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Triple digits continue to soar across the Borderland but we’re expecting showers and thunderstorms later in the evening.

We’re forecasting a high of 102-degrees by 3 p.m. Expect a 40 percent chance of precipitation with west winds ranging from 10 to 15 mph and 15 to 25 mph east of the Rio Grande Valley.

While we’ll be near normal temperatures, the morning will start off warm. Make sure to stay hydrated as we continue to be under an extended heat advisory.
