KTSM News – Welcoming the newest baby El Pasoans in 2025

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Hospitals in El Paso are celebrating the New Year by welcoming their first 2025 babies.

Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare welcomed their first 2025 baby, Ezra Jacobo Sanchez, at 7:06 a.m. on Jan. 1.

He weighed 6 pounds and 8 ounces, and measured 21 inches long. He is loved by his mother Sylvana Dennise Correa, father Alejandro Sanchez, and older brother Elian.

The University Medical Center of El Paso welcomed their first 2025 baby, Irina, at exactly midnight!

Irina weighed 7 pounds and 9 ounces, according to UMC.

The Hospitals of Providence welcomed their 2025 baby, Santiago, at 4:25 a.m.

Santiago weighed 6 pounds and 8 ounces and is loved by his parents, Elizabeth and Cristian Ayquipa.
