KTSM News – Whataburger announces new burger, changes to its menu

Posted on April 2, 2024

HOUSTON (KIAH) — Whataburger, Texas’ favorite fast-food chain, made two major announcements to its menu, which includes a brand-new burger and the continuation of a fairly new item.

The new burger is called the Bacon Steakhouse Double, which the restaurant said is “inspired by the flavors of an upscale steakhouse.”

The burger, described as “creamy, crispy, crunchy,” has two beef patties, two slices of melted aged cheddar topped with smoky bacon, crispy fried onions, and tangy steak sauce on a toasted bun.

The burger is only available for a limited time, only from now until June 30.

Whataburger also announced that WhataWings, its 100% white meat chicken bites that debuted earlier this year, will stay on the menu through the end of the year due to overwhelming demand.
