EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A Wienerschnitzel restaurant has opened up in growing Horizon City, the company announced.
The restaurant is located at 12610 State Street and will be locally owned and operated by Evan Carbonell. It opened on June 29.
“We are thrilled with the community’s reception to our new Wienerschnitzel opening,” said Carbonell. “Wienerschnitzel is an iconic legacy brand that has been in Texas for over 50 years and it’s clear that Horizon City was a perfect match. This is a brand that just keeps growing because of its amazing food, reasonable prices and nostalgic feeling. We’re excited to continue this momentum as we welcome our beloved guests during National Hot Dog Month.”
Wienerschnitzel bills itself as the “world’s largest hot dog chain” and serves more than 120 million hot dogs each year, the company said.
Based in Tustin, California, the Galardi Group has franchised 340 Wienerschnitzel restaurants in 12 states.
The Galardi Group is also the parent company and franchisor for the Hamburger Stand and Tastee Freez.
