EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — High winds and blowing dust are limiting visibility and impacting driving conditions on Sunday, May 18 in the Lordsburg-Deming-Las Cruces corridor, the New Mexico Department of Transportation said.

Diving conditions are difficult along Interstate 10 in the Deming area from mile marker 90 (5 miles east of Deming) to mile marker 96 (11 miles east of Deming).

The following highways are closed:

*Deming area: NM 549 eastbound and westbound from mile marker 0 to mile marker 16.
