Late Tuesday evening, we have a slight chance of light rain mixing over to light flurries just before midnight. A Winter Weather Advisory is posted for the entire Borderland starting Tuesday 10 PM through Friday 5 AM. A powerful cold front blows in Tuesday afternoon. Expect snow showers Wednesday and Thursday with total accumulations between 1 and 3 inches, up to 5 inches above 7500 feet. Wednesday will be cloudy and very cold with a high of 35. Expect scattered snow showers starting early in the morning and lasting on and off through the day with light snow accumulations (1 to 3 inches) by the time the system leaves Thursday night. Thursday will be cloudy and cold with a high of 38. Expect more scattered snow showers on and off through the day. Skies start to clear on Friday with a high of 45.
