KTSM News – Woman arrested for violence against family, other charges

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A 23-year-old woman was arrested on Wednesday, March 19, after a “long standoff” for continuous violence against the family and other charges, the El Paso County Constable Office for Precinct 3 said in a news release.

The Constable’s Office said Maria Pineda had an active personal recognizance bond revocation warrant for continuous violence against the family with a $50,000 bond; two active probation criminal warrants for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; and driving while intoxicated with a $12,000 bond.

Pineda was taken into custody at the 6900 block of Escondido Drive after a long standoff. She was then booked into the El Paso County Jail with no further incident, the Constable’s Office said.
