EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A woman is giving back to the community this Breast Cancer Awareness Month by raising money for local cancer organizations.
For the second year in a row, Lupita Rodriguez and her team donated to the Stand with Estela Casas Cancer Foundation.
With this year’s message being “Yo no me doy por vencida,” or “I will not give up” in English, they raised a total of $1,000 during a beautiful dinner. The money will help pay for cancer screenings for women and men in the community.
Rodriguez honors women who fought the good fight, celebrates those who completed their treatment, and encourages women who are on their cancer journey.
