Posted on October 14, 2025

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Workforce Solutions Borderplex (WSB) has been around for a while, but in recent years, it has evolved to better serve the community.

WSB, which serves the El Paso, Hudspeth, Culberson, Jeff Davis, Presidio, and Brewster counties, is a nonprofit that connects the “right people to the right positions,” according to its website.

The organization and its initiatives have been recognized and awarded by the Texas Workforce Commission for their innovative approach to assisting employers and job seekers.

Leila H. Melendez, CEO of WSB, will join KTSM to talk about the organization’s service to the community and how it is evolving after years in the industry.

Tune in at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14, to KTSM channel 9 or this web story to watch the interview.
