EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Ysleta Independent School District will once again offer afterschool supper meals from Monday through Thursday at eight campuses starting on Tuesday, Sept. 3, the district said in a press release on Monday, Aug. 26.
The district says the supper program which provides free meals to children 18-years-old and younger and students who remain on campus after school for extracurricular activities, will be offered at the following campuses:
Bel Air High School
Del Valle High School
Eastwood High School
Hanks High School
Parkland High School
Riverside High School
Ysleta High School
Young Women’s Leadership Academy
The meals will be served starting at 4 p.m. from Monday through Thursday. The district began participating in the supper program in 2017 as part of an “overall effort to increase student access to healthy meals,” the district said.
