EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Ysleta Independent School District is surprising students at North Loop Elementary School on Monday, April 7, with prizes for attendance and high scorers on the district’s “Game On” video game.
The prizes are a part of Ysleta ISD’s “Be Present!” attendance campaign challenge to “help students avoid the pitfalls of chronic absences, which may lead to failed classes and disciplinary issues,” according to the district.
Attendance winners and high scorers of the “Game On” game will be surprised with a free bicycle, board game and backpacks, Ysleta ISD said.
