The Birdie Chica Tote from Consuela.Ashley Saenz has been spreading the gospel of Consuela for years. “Every Texas girl has to have a Consuela,” she wrote in a TikTok caption in 2022. Like Stanley and Supreme devotees who are obsessed with buying and showing off their collections, Saenz, who has more than 63,000 TikTok followers, is one of a small army of customers loyal to the Austin-based company known for its bright and durable bags. In a recent video, she cheekily shows off an impressive collection of thirtyish bags that nearly overwhelm a five-tier closet rack in her Mission home. They aren’t all for herself, she later tells me. Some will be given away as gifts, others raffled off to raise funds for charity. But no matter where they end…
