Paramount announced Wednesday that its hit show Landman will have a second season. Since its November debut, the series has received critical acclaim for its riveting portrayal of the fortune-seeking culture of daring and drama that surrounds the world of West Texas oil.Landman, cocreated by award-winning director and screenwriter Taylor Sheridan and Texas Monthly alum Christian Wallace, is based on the Texas Monthly and Imperative Entertainment podcast Boomtown, which Wallace hosted.
