To start: Congratulations to all the New York Knicks fans, whether they’re of the long-suffering variety, who had never previously drawn breath in a world in which their team might conceivably win a championship, or mere bandwagoners, who joined the ride when things got interesting for their team in April. The 2026 New York Knicks were a special team, cobbled together without expensive superstars (unlike the failed big-money experiments in Los Angeles and Phoenix), touched by the hands of destiny and Danhausen, pulling off comeback after comeback (including the greatest of all time) on the path to basketball immortality.
