collage of kevin von erich memorabilia auction itemsWhen Kevin Von Erich moved back to Texas last year, the first thing that struck him was the weather. “It was three months in a row of hot spell,” he says from his new home in the Hill Country. His second realization was that he’d been hauling around his collection of memorabilia from his famous family’s pro-wrestling dynasty in an eighteen-wheeler storage container for nearly two decades—from Texas to his longtime home in Hawaii and then back to Texas and to his current home, in Boerne. “I just thought it’s being wasted, sitting here with me,” he says. Over the years, interest in the Von Erich saga grew.
