EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The Las Cruces Utilities (LCU) will be temporarily closed for business on Friday, Nov. 1 for a departmental safety and team building event, the City of Las Cruces announced in a news release.

The City said the temporary closure will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 1 at all LCU offices:

City Hall location, 700 N. Main St.

East Mesa location, 5195 Bataan Memorial West #2

LCU Office Center, 680 N. Motel Blvd.

Utilities – gas and water – payments can still be made in person at the temporary cashiers’ counter in the Business Registration office on the first floor of City Hall, according to the City.

“Customers are asked to conduct business for utility hookups, disconnections, etc., earlier in the week or after 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, to allow for this temporary closure,” read the news release.
