EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Sun Metro will provide free rides to residents heading to the polls on Election Day, Nov. 5, the City of El Paso announced in a news release.
“At Sun Metro, we recognize that our transportation services are vital to the community. We are proud to once again offer free rides on Election Day to support civic engagement,” Sun Metro Director Anthony DeKeyzer said. “This initiative not only makes it easier for residents without access to a vehicle to vote, but it also promotes social equity within our community.”
The City said residents can board any Brio or Fixed Route bus – no passes or documentation necessary.
In addition, Sun Metro’s LIFT paratransit service will also offer free rides for those who need them.
You can schedule a ride on the LIFT by calling (915) 212-LIFT (5438).
