EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Electric (EPE) will be requiring three weeks of nightly road closures in East El Paso to make enhancements to its energy delivery system, the company said.
According to EPE, the nightly closures will begin from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3 and are expected to run through Nov. 22 on George Dieter Drive and Gateway Boulevard West.
Lanes on Gateway Boulevard West from Don Haskins Drive to George Dieter are also expected to close concurrently.
EPE said the closures will be from Sunday nights to Friday mornings.
Commuters are asked to follow detour signage and respect construction barricades. Closure and traffic detours will be assisted by local law enforcement.
