EL PASO, Tx., September 11, 2025: The 24th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks is taking place today with several events across town to honor the memory of those lost that day. Members of the community will gather to reflect on the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks that brought down the World Trade Center and damaged the Pentagon. They will be honoring the fallen heroes and the survivors of the attacks that day. Almost 3,000 people died that day in New York City.
Across the nation several commemorations will be held for Patriot Day, as the commemorations are now known, including on at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum.
There are four events happening today starting at 2:40 in the morning. The last event ends at 1:00 in the afternoon.
