EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Halloween, Borderland!
After a much-needed break from above-average temperatures, we slowly warm back up over the weekend.
Friday will be mostly sunny during the day with slight chances of thunderstorms around midnight, mostly near Otero and Hudspeth County. We’ll see a high of 80 degrees and a low of 55.
Conditions calm down for Saturday, but the warm temperatures remain with a high of 80 degrees and a low near 52.
Come Sunday, a storm front increases the chances for nighttime rain showers. Temperatures cool to give us a high near 75 degrees and a low of 55. The precipitation carries into Monday where afternoon showers are possible. Things cool down significantly, with a high near 65 degrees and a low around 41.
Election Day, Nov. 5, begins a slight warming trend where our high will be near 67 degrees and low of 43. Sunny skies are expected.
Wednesday to Saturday will feature sunny to mostly sunny skies and highs that range in the lower 70s, with lows in the mid-40s.
