KTSM News – La Nube launches STEAM campaign for children

Posted on November 26, 2024

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — La Nube STEAM Discovery Center has unveiled its “Shaping the Future” campaign, where all children and families can access experiences in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM), La Nube said in a press release.

The campaign’s goal is to raise $25,000 by Jan. 6, 2025, with its mission being to enable all children to “explore, learn, and discover through La Nube’s immersive, hands-on STEAM exhibits and educational programs,” La Nube said.

Contributions will also directly fund scholarships, educational programming, and resources, empowering children across the Paso del Norte region to engage fully in STEAM learning, according to La Nube.

“Access to STEAM education is vital for inspiring the next generation and preparing them for the future,” said Gina Martinez, CEO of La Nube. “We are committed to offering top-tier experiences that not only spark curiosity but also provide pathways to future careers in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Through the Shaping the Future campaign, we’re inviting the community to join us in making these transformative opportunities accessible to every child in El Paso, fostering a foundation for lifelong learning and success.”

Donations can be made online at La Nube’s website. For more details on the Shape the Future campaign, call 915-290-4111.
